About the Role As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) projects within Singapore’s transit environment. You’ll coordinate multi-disciplinary stakeholders, drive project progress, and ensure smooth installation, testing and commissioning—all while keeping commuters’ needs at the heart of what you do.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the document review process: collate feedback from all reviewing parties, track actions, and ensure timely follow-up
  • Coordinate design, installation, testing and commissioning activities with contractors, site owners and end users- Liaise with contractors and stakeholders to monitor and update programme and work schedules
  • Support the project team to ensure timely, quality project delivery
  • Prepare project summary and progress reports for management and stakeholders
  • Handle project administration: schedule and coordinate meetings, prepare minutes and presentation materials, and draft formal correspondence

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Recognised diploma or degree in Engineering or a related discipline
  • Experience in project management or projects involving Automatic Fare Collection in Singapore’s transit environment is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Windows)
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and able to work independently
  • Strong team player with good collaboration skills
  • Able to work flexible hours; willing to perform night works during engineering hours
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Willing to travel regularly between office and work sites
